We are delighted to be opening The Old Farmhouse again. We’ve missed our fabulous guests and are really looking forward to welcoming you all back.
It is obviously very important that we protect the health of our guests and our staff. For this reason you will see a few changes when you stay with us. We wanted to outline these here so there are no surprises!
On Arrival
On arrival you will be asked to sanitise your hands and have a temperature check. We will not be able to allow anybody with any symptoms of Covid to check in and so we may ask you questions about this.
Anyone presenting with any symptoms will be asked to return home and self isolate. There will be no charges incurred if we ask you to leave.
Our staff will be wearing face masks during the check-in process.
Payment for your Room
We will be operating a cash-less system only. We will welcome payment in advance over the telephone or on departure via a card or Apple Pay.
Cleaning of Rooms
Our standards of cleaning at The Old Farmhouse have always been exceptional but we will be going even further at this time.
Each room will be thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitised before your stay. Linens and towels will be washed at high temperatures with added sanitisation. All items that could be a possible cause of contamination will not be available. This includes things such as magazines and reading literature.
We will also be cleaning communal areas more frequently.
Staff Training
All staff will undergo safety training prior to their return. Our guest’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. Behind the scenes the staff will be wearing protective clothing where necessary.
Breakfast
Our breakfast tables will be two metres apart and staff serving your breakfast will wear protective masks and gloves. If we are busy you may be asked to book a breakfast slot.
Any Queries
We hope this gives you confidence that we are treating the risks around Coronavirus very seriously indeed. We would not be opening The Old Farmhouse if we did not feel we could operate safely.
However, even with these plans, we cannot give an absolute guarantee. We are reliant on all our guests taking personnel responsibility for looking after their own health, as well. If you are particularly vulnerable to this disease you may wish to consider whether it is appropriate for you to stay with us.
If you have any queries about our approach to this pandemic, please do get in touch and we will do our best to answer any questions.
